The Recreation Supervisor supports the leadership and coordination of daily recreational, entertainment, and family programming at Dellshire Resort. This position assists in overseeing Recreation Attendants to ensure each guest enjoys engaging, well-organized, and safe activities that reflect the resort's luxury, adventure, and family-friendly atmosphere. What You'll Do

  • Supervise daily recreational and activity operations, including scheduling, setup, execution, and cleanup of programs and events.
  • Lead, train, and motivate Activities Attendants and team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Assist the Recreation Manager with developing and implementing new, innovative activities and themed events for all age groups.
  • Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Marketing, and other resort departments to support special events and holiday programs.
  • Monitor and manage activity areas such as pools, family recreation zones, VR attractions, and outdoor entertainment spaces.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with resort and state regulations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms; assist in ordering as needed.
  • Greet guests and promote resort activities and upcoming events with enthusiasm and product knowledge.
  • Handle guest questions, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and follow-up.
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of activity spaces, storage areas, and signage.
  • Track attendance, participation, and guest satisfaction metrics to support program evaluation.
  • Serve as acting department lead in the absence of the Recreation Manager.
  • Uphold Dellshire Resort's standards of hospitality, presentation, and brand representation at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

What are we looking for?

Who You Are

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in recreation, hospitality, or entertainment, with one (1) year in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a passion for guest engagement.
  • Ability to create a fun, energetic, and inclusive atmosphere for guests of all ages.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of event setup, recreation equipment, and safety practices.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required (or ability to obtain prior to start).
  • Food Handler Certification preferred.
  • Must be available for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Recreation, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
