Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Job Description:
  • Count eggs from each house.
  • Load eggs onto trailer - ability to lift 4 flats at a time.
  • Transport eggs to egg room using 4-wheeler.
  • Unload eggs into egg room and stack onto pallets a) Wrap pallets b) Clean egg room c) Assist egg truck driver to load pallets onto truck.
  • Perform same tasks as an egg gatherer. These include gather eggs, clean workrooms, empty trash, walk floors & slats to find eggs & dead birds, help maintain & clean ranch grounds, clean waterers, clean lights, clean up ranch between flocks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Good management skills: personnel, organizational skills, conscientious, accepts responsibility, shows interest in ranch management.
  • Outstanding motivation: must be self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Good work record.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb a 12-foot ladder, step into & out of fathering pit (steep stairs), bend over & pick up eggs from Floor & walk 1.5 - 5 miles per day.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to submit and pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
