To thrive as an Assistant Qualitative Research Moderator, you need a background in social sciences or market research, strong analytical skills, and experience in qualitative data collection. Assistant Qualitative Research Moderators are professionals who support the lead moderator in conducting qualitative research activities such as focus groups, interviews, and ethnographic studies. They help with preparing research materials, taking detailed notes, managing logistics, and sometimes assisting with participant engagement during sessions. Their role is crucial in ensuring that the research process runs smoothly and that valuable insights are accurately captured for analysis. They also assist in analyzing data and compiling reports under the supervision of senior researchers.
