LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Property Accountant job for the corporate office located in Oakland, CA. This job is 100% in-office! We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented accountant that has experience in real estate or property management. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks for our portfolio of properties. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing real estate organization. Responsibilities: - Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare monthly financial statements for assigned properties. - Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow for multiple properties. - Prepare and submit monthly rent invoices and ensure timely rent collection. - Review and analyze financial data to identify variances and trends. - Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. - Conduct monthly analysis of property expenses and provide recommendations for cost savings. - Coordinate with property managers and other team members to resolve accounting-related issues. - Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations. - Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings.
