Job description

Indigo Park is looking for a Supervisor in Ottawa. The supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and day-to-day managing all functions (staffing, equipment, and operations). The supervisor ensures the successful development, maintenance, and enhancement of client/customer relationships.
What Would You Be Doing?

Operations

  • Supervise the general operations of each location
  • Maintain efficient daily operations at the site, ensuring that employees project the desired image of Indigo Park Canada Services.
  • Lot Conditions (Surface, HVAC, Lighting,
  • Ensure proper vehicle circulation
  • Verify on-site supplies are adequate (tickets, cashier reports)
  • Equipment (Pay & Display meters, POF, Gates, Exit Terminals)
  • Provide Employee Manual/ Operations Manual
  • Perform lot audits (revenue and operational)
  • Act immediately upon the instructions of Area Manager regarding rate changes (order new decals or signage)
  • Make suggestions to Area Manager, on how to improve revenue at your location
  • Train new staff as per lot manual with attention to valet procedures if applicable

Human Resources

  • Maintain Employee File (current)
  • Take certain disciplinary measures with field staff (with involvement by Area Manager)
  • Replace field staff in case of illness or other
  • Assist field staff during peak periods
  • Communicate with Area Manager when there is a need to make a staffing change, or hire additional staff
  • Provide uniforms

Administration

  • Verify all employee time punches by using the ADP portal
  • Ensure that all operational policies/procedures are being followed at your location
  • Ensure that all money handling procedures are properly documented in Operations Manuals, and are followed by cashiers and attendants
  • Ensure that all cashiers/attendants and valets are properly stocked for inventory
  • Assist Area Manager with client relations
  • Assist Area Manager with field staff performance reviews
  • Train new staff on-site

What Are We Looking For?

  • Minimum of 2 year of customer service experience with experience being in a supervisor role.
  • Clean driver's G license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
