Job description

SUMMARY:
The Site/Civil Engineer will be a key member of the Bryant Engineering Team in our Louisville, KY office, where he/she will perform design calculations and analysis in support of the successful completion of assigned projects for a wide range of public and private sector clients.
The Site/Civil Engineer will assist Project Manager with the planning and design of assigned projects that meet technical requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED):
• Work on design teams in all aspects of given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans that meet client specs and exceed client expectations
• Perform quantity estimates, detailing and check calculations and drawings
• Conduct code research and write specifications
• Supports Project Manager on other tasks as assigned/needed
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work on multiple project assignments concurrently
• Problem Solver
• Works in a timely fashion to meet project budgets and deadlines
• Desire to work in a team environment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• BS in Civil Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Previous experience working in a consulting engineering environment a plus
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Proficient in AutoCad® Civil 3D®
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES:

TRAVEL:
Local travel to job sites and client meetings as required
