RJS CONSTRUCTION, INC. Is an established and growing general contractor performing construction work in the Federal, Public and Private sectors throughout the United States. We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer/ Assistant Project Manager who is a polished professional to join our pacific northwest team, The office is in Blaine Washington. The ideal candidate with good client communication skills (verbal and written); the ability to be a team player is critical to the success of this position, H1 Visa is not acceptable. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately prepare and expedite submittals, Process shop drawings and maintain up-dated logs, Prepare, & follow up on client RFI's,Moniter and up-date project schedules with Project Managers and Superintendents, Participate in project meetings ( may be required to take minutes ), Assist in maintenance of project files, Support the quality control and punch list process, Assist in coding of time cards, invoices and receipts, Review and approve subcontractor payment applications, assist in marketing efforts, assist with subcontractor database, Assist in assembling bid documents, Participate in project "Walk- through" as required, assist with the development and tracking of RFP's for subcontractor pricing, assist in preparation of "Hard Bids". MINIMUM 3 years in a construction related role. Knowledge of construction software, Exhibit accuracy with an attention to detail, Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment, Ability to work independently, , proactively anticipate and resolve issues, Proficient with MS WORD, EXCELL, PROJECT, AND MS OUTLOOK, PROCORE
