About
Eastern is seeking a highly skilled Project Administrator to join our dynamic, growing team. The Project Administrator supports project teams by managing administrative tasks, documentation, and communication throughout the construction process. This role ensures smooth coordination between field and office operations, maintains organized project records, and various ad-hoc duties. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in construction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily administrative tasks and project coordination.
  • Maintain and organize project files, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and close-out documents.
  • Process subcontractor and vendor contracts, purchase orders, and insurance documents.
  • Support in preparing owner contracts, progress billings, and insurance documents.
  • Monitor and update project tracking systems (Procore)
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project needs are met.
  • Manage document control systems to ensure version accuracy and accessibility.
  • Handle general office and job site administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in construction or a related field.
  • Familiarity with construction project workflows, Procore, and documentation.
  • Strong computer skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with construction software (Procore) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
