Computer Engineer / Programmer

Position Summary

The Computer Engineer / Programmer role bridges software development and electrical engineering, requiring an individual who can develop, troubleshoot, and integrate sophisticated hardware and software solutions for industrial and mobile equipment applications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills, a solid understanding of electrical and electronic systems, and hands-on experience with Controller Area Network (CAN) communications. This position will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting innovative control systems, embedded applications, and next-generation technologies used in demanding industrial environments.

Essential Responsibilities

· Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and embedded control systems.

· Program, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize CAN (Controller Area Network) communication systems.

· Develop software solutions for industrial automation, mobile equipment, and control systems.

· Integrate hardware components, sensors, controllers, and software platforms into complete operational systems.

· Design and implement embedded applications utilizing microcontrollers, PLCs, and industrial controllers.

· Diagnose and resolve hardware, electrical, firmware, and software issues in prototype and production environments.

· Create technical documentation, specifications, schematics, and software design documentation.

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative products and solutions.

· Assist with system testing, validation, commissioning, and field support activities.

· Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve product performance and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.

· 3+ years of experience in software development and engineering-related programming.

· Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as:
