About the FacilityAbout the LocationResponsibilities
  • Develop and implement therapy programs and services that meet the needs of patients and are consistent with the healthcare organization's mission and values

  • Provide leadership and guidance to therapy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the therapy department, ensuring that services are delivered in a timely, efficient, and patient-centered manner.

  • Develop and manage budgets for the therapy department, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and aligned with organizational priorities.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as insurance companies, referral sources, and community organizations.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards for therapy services.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs and services, and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Stay up to date with developments in therapy research, technology, and best practices, and incorporate them into therapy programs and services as appropriate.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy/Assistant or Occupational Therapy/Assistant Program OR Speech Language Pathologist

  • Must have management experience in skilled nursing.

  • Current license or eligible for support under statutes in the state of practice.

  • Must have BLS CPR certification upon hire or obtain it during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
