Job description

I. ROLE

The Operations Program Coordinator (OPC) supports the execution of customer programs by coordinating daily operational activities required to achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD), customer commitments and operational performance objectives.

The OPC acts as the operational liaison between Program Delivery, Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality and Engineering, ensuring timely communication, issue follow-up and execution of recovery actions.

This role supports the Program Delivery Manager in maintaining execution visibility across assigned programs while developing the operational, analytical and customer-facing competencies required for future leadership opportunities.


II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPROGRAM EXECUTION SUPPORT
  • Support the execution of assigned customer programs from demand through shipment.
  • Monitor operational progress against customer commitments.
  • Coordinate follow-up actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Track open actions and ensure timely closure.
  • Support Program Delivery Manager in preparing customer and internal operational reviews.
DELIVERY COORDINATION
  • Monitor On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance for assigned programs.
  • Analyze backlog, past due orders and shipment priorities.
  • Support delivery recovery plans.
  • Coordinate execution activities across Planning, Production, Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • Escalate operational risks impacting customer deliveries.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION
  • Coordinate operational meetings involving Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality and Engineering.
  • Follow up action items from operational reviews.
  • Ensure alignment between customer priorities and operational execution.
  • Support execution of Engineering Changes affecting deliveries.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT
  • Support customer communications related to delivery status and operational updates.
  • Prepare operational reports for customer meetings.
  • Assist with customer demand reviews and purchase order reconciliation.
  • Support negotiations related to delivery dates under the guidance of the Program Delivery Manager.
REPORTING & ANALYTICS
  • Maintain operational dashboards and KPI reports.
  • Monitor:
    • On-Time Delivery
    • Past Due Orders
    • Backlog
    • Customer Demand
    • Recovery Actions
  • Support executive reporting activities.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • Participate in root cause investigations related to delivery performance.
  • Support A3, 8D and corrective action activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes.
  • Promote Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
