Job description

Coordinating, supervising and monitoring clinical services and residential programming.

  • Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Behavioral Health Counselors, including staff orientation and professional development.
  • Provide clinical support and on-call coverage for staff and consumers during crises and emergencies.
  • Oversee all aspects of service delivery, including assessments, treatment planning, referrals, case conferences, family meetings, counseling, consumer advocacy, community coordination, and discharge planning.
  • Lead weekly staff meetings and consumer house meetings.
  • Assist the Mental Health Director with the recruitment, hiring, and separation of residential staff.
  • Review consumer records to ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with confidentiality requirements.
  • Ensure all staff complete required Core Competency Training.
  • Oversee staff scheduling and daily program operations.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic in-house programs that meet consumer needs.
  • Ensure consumers have a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
  • Transport consumers in agency vehicles safely and responsibly when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a mental health related discipline required such as Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Nursing, etc.
  • Previous Mental/Health Human Services experience required.
  • Previous mental health/human services supervisory and residential experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, with a good driving record.
