Job description

Job Title: Program Coordinator

Location: Houma, LA

Position Overview: The Program Coordinator provides leadership, operational oversight, and strategic support for complex programs within the organization. This role is responsible for coordinating crossfunctional activities, ensuring program goals are met, and supporting program managers and directors through planning, execution, and performance monitoring. The Program Coordinator serves as a central communication point, drives process improvements, and maintains program alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Program Management Office in internal and external meetings on ongoing topics of discussion as needed.
  • Drive daily communication and interaction with matrix team members and customer representation to ensure program milestones are met.
  • Supply department leads with information and analysis data as requested.
  • Develop and maintain process instructions, associated workflows, and issue guidelines in support of efficient practices.
  • Develop budget spreadsheets or reports, forecast resource requirements, and status progress for assigned Work Study or Technical Instructions.
  • Assist in reviews and submissions of contract document deliverables.
  • Support planning and coordination of all program key events.
  • Attend daily production meetings during construction.
  • Coordinate daytoday program operations, ensuring tasks, milestones, and deliverables remain on schedule.
  • Support strategic planning by developing timelines, resource plans, risk assessments, and performance reports.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, leadership, external stakeholders, and partners.
  • Monitor program performance metrics and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including status reports, dashboards, presentations, and meeting minutes.
  • Lead or support program-related meetings, briefings, and working groups.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance program workflow and outcomes.
  • Assist with the development, review, and implementation of program policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure program activities comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Provide mentorship or task guidance to junior staff or project resources assigned to the program.

Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of program coordination, project management, or related experience in a complex organizational environment.
  • Associate's degree or a commensurate combination of education and experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with proven success managing multiple moving parts.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
