Job Summary

PhD or equivalent in Cell Biology or related field. Should have an active track record of research activity as evidenced by peerโ€‘reviewed publications. Demonstrated ability to establish a wellโ€‘funded research program is essential. Carry out high quality research; maintain a good publication record in peerโ€‘reviewed journals; fund research from extramural granting agencies; offer clear instruction to students in the Colleges of Medicine and Graduate Studies; offer research training to medical, graduate and postdoctoral students; consult and collaborate with colleagues in their area of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must hold a PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree and have relevant postdoctoral or independent research experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates for Assistant Professor position should have a PhD or equivalent degree and postdoctoral experience in cell biology or related field. To be considered for Associate Professor appointment, candidates should have an established track record of research productivity and funding.
