Position Qualification
Position Summary
This senior scientist position will be actively engaged in the research mission. Responsible for interdisciplinary research collaboration, sustaining funded research, maintenance of a national presence with regard to research, and mentoring junior nurse scientists and graduate students. Participates in the tripartite faculty role of research, teaching, and service.
Required Qualifications
Terminal degree required; doctorate in nursing preferred. Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Nebraska.
Supplemental Qualifications
Clear demonstration of scholarly work and career development, including research projects that have received major funding, and scholarly publications in refereed research journals.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to guide others in their research.
