The Role:
This is a critical support role for the Chief Technology Officer in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. As the Senior Executive Assistant to the CTO, you will be a key partner in ensuring the CTO's success. Our work environment is fun, but we also work hard and are passionate about what we do. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, positive, proactive, and assertive individual with an exceptional work ethic. We are looking for a self-motivated professional with a "can-do" attitude who is comfortable doing whatever it takes to help our Product and Engineering organizations run smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
  • Strategic Calendar Management: Proactively manage the CTO's complex and dynamic calendar, prioritizing meetings and ensuring a seamless flow between meetings.
  • Travel Coordination: Arrange complex domestic and international travel, including airfare, accommodations, and ground transportation, ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience.
  • Meeting & Event Coordination: Plan and execute all aspects of internal and external meetings and events (e.g. conferences), including coordinating logistics, preparing agendas, organizing team dinners, and distributing materials.
  • Expense Management: Prepare and submit accurate and timely expense reports for the CTO as needed.
  • Information Management: Handle and protect confidential information with the utmost discretion, acting as a gatekeeper and ensuring the secure flow of information.
  • Proactive Support: Anticipate the CTO's needs and proactively address them, thinking ahead to solve problems before they arise.

What You'll Need:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 8-10+ years of proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-level executives, preferably in a fast-paced technology company.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an obsessive attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exercises impeccable discretion and maintains absolute confidentiality when handling sensitive organizational data.
  • Demonstrates exceptional judgement and composure.

Plan for Success:
First 30 Days (Operational & Integrated Support)
  • Gain access to and proficiency in all necessary systems (Coupa, Egencia, etc.).
  • Take ownership of calendar management, travel booking, expense reporting, and inbox management for the CTO.
  • Develop a strategy for managing the CTO's inbox in alignment with his preferences.
  • Build relationships with the broader EA team and the CTO's Chief of Staff.
  • Understand the business priorities for SailPoint and the Product & Engineering team.
  • Learn the process for submitting timesheets..

First 60 Days (Proactive & Strategic Support)
  • Proactively manage the CTO's calendar at least one month in advance.
  • Take on special projects, including managing email distribution lists and Slack channels.
  • Maintain the Confluence calendar for the Product and Engineering team.
  • Attend the CTO's staff meetings to take notes and gain a deeper understanding of the business.
  • Understand the annual rhythm of the business, including key events like Navigate, SKO, and RSA conferences.

First 90 Days (Anticipatory & Independent Support)
  • Fully anticipate the CTO's needs and proactively manage the calendar and travel.
  • Independently manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Support event planning for larger dinners, conferences, and onsites/offsites.
  • Assist with miscellaneous support tasks, such as ordering team swag.
  • Serve as a reliable backup for other EAs on the team.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint's differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):
$99,200 - $167,206.00
Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee's home location.
