Job description

The Practice Operations Manager (POM) is the sole point of non-clinical operational authority for the

practice. The role exists to enforce systems, run the day-to-day business of the clinic, and fully insulate

the physician from operational decision-making so clinical capacity is preserved. Authority in this role is

positional, documented, and final on all non-clinical matters. The POM is the practice’s operator, not

its coordinator and not its assistant.
