MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Associate's Degree OR High school diploma AND three (3) years of healthcare experience.
2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
3. State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Two (2) years in a healthcare management/supervisory position.

1. Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care in accordance with the policy and procedures, philosophy and mission.
2. Develops, implements and supports strategies for the delivery of quality patient care based on the requirements of the medical service while achieving positive patient relations in a teaching environment.
3. Ensures staff provides quality, effective care consistent with relevant policies, procedures and access and service standards. Monitors and evaluates quality of care.
4. Works closely with staff and peers to identify opportunities to improve patient care. Coordinates activities between the clinical service and other clinical units to ensure quality patient care.
5. Facilitates the development of departmental policies and procedures and ensures compliance. Ensures department is in compliance with applicable regulations, i.e., CLIA, OSHA, Medicare, etc.
6. Promotes customer satisfaction in a professional, constructive manner.
7. Collaborates with Medical Director to ensure program goals are established and achieved.
8. Responsible for the coordination, organization and delegation of operational aspects of the department to ensure effective, efficient delivery of services
9. In conjunction with Director/Administrator, Clinical Services and in accordance with mission and goals, determines the service needs in terms of patient and staff requirements.
10. Assures that staff provides patient focused care. Resolves patient care issues as identified.
11. Reviews outcomes and evaluates operational systems to ensure ongoing improvement. Creates a work environment that promotes continuous quality improvement, team building and ongoing personal development.
12. Collaborates with medical staff and other personnel in promoting and planning optimal patient care. Collaborates regularly with physicians and ancillary service providers to review practices, services and resolve issues.
13. Selects, hires, trains, manages and evaluates the effectiveness of employees on a continuous basis. Promotes teamwork, contributing to positive employee morale.
14. Performs performance evaluations that provide objective, constructive feedback regarding strengths and opportunities for improvement. Coaches and counsels to correct identified performance deficiencies.
15. Establishes goals, and provides follow up within established Human Resources policies.
16. Ensures compliance with policies and ensures staff meets the established access and service standards.
17. Devises communication system to keep all personnel informed of operations.
18. Fosters a competent staff through the provision of orientation, inservices, continuing education programs and professional development.
19. Assists with the creation and oversight of clinic budgets.
20. Demonstrates an awareness of departmental budget for personnel, materials and services through efficient use of the same. Assures cost effective staffing patterns, schedules and appropriately utilizes staff.
21. Reviews trends with Medical Director/Administrator. Monitors utilization of equipment and supplies and prioritizes budget requests to ensure safe patient care and optimal utilization of resources. Approves and maintains payroll documents. Analyzes trends to develop long range plans for budget needs.
22. Participates in committees and completes additional projects as assigned.
23. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises support staff within clinical unit in the provision of patient services, i.e., Staff Nurse, Lead Nurse, LPN, Ambulatory Nursing Assistants, Ambulatory Care Assistants, Insurance Specialists, Coordinator, Patient Registration, and technical staff.

1. Requires good to excellent health in order to assist patients and move equipment and supplies.
2. Lifting up to 60 pounds, pushing carts, positioning patients, less than 50% of work time.
