Role Purpose
Responsible for leading a team of Medical Assistants in providing patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider. Serves as an experienced role model within the practice supporting compliance, providing cross-training, following practice protocols and performing procedures within the practice.
Responsibilities
  • Manages inventory and tracking of medications and supplies.
  • Ensures practice is in compliance with OSHA and all protocols/procedures in the delivery of patient care.
  • Acts as MA clinical subject matter expert to assist practice management in oversight of coverage and daily patient operations.
  • Monitors MA required training and certification records and ensures everyone is in compliance with HR.
  • Performs triage of incoming escalated patient requests.
