Job description

Kinsale Golf Club is seeking a dependable, hands-on Club Maintenance Technician to help maintain the exceptional standards of our private club facilities and grounds. This position is responsible for performing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across club buildings, residences, and outdoor areas to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for members, guests, and staff.

Summary: The Club Maintenance Technician performs routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance for a private club’s facilities to ensure safe, functional, and well-maintained interior and exterior environments. This position requires hands-on skills in plumbing and general maintenance, with additional responsibilities in light electrical, HVAC, pool care, cleaning, and grounds support. Work schedules vary based on operational needs.

Job Duties:

  • Plumbing amp; Mechanical Maintenance
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair standard plumbing fixtures and systems, including water lines, tankless water heaters, mini sump pumps, and related components.
  • Inspect plumbing fixtures and systems for safety and code compliance, and report issues to management.
  • Perform basic repairs to minor electrical and heating systems and associated controls throughout club facilities and residences.
  • Perform routine maintenance on:
  • Interior and exterior lighting
  • Electrical fixtures and outlets
  • Light HVAC systems on appliances and controls
  • Conduct light carpentry, patching, painting, pressure washing, and minor building repairs.
  • Operate a golf cart to travel safely between buildings, maintenance areas, and other club properties while performing assigned duties.
  • Follow all club safety procedures and posted rules while operating a golf cart.
  • Perform routine pool maintenance, including chemical testing, inspections, vacuuming, and cleaning (training provided if needed).
  • Assist with laundry services and chemical transportation between properties as required.
  • Assist with setup, service, and breakdown for food and beverage events and private functions.
  • Contact and coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for repairs and emergencies beyond the scope of routine maintenance.
  • Maintain logs, schedules, and service records documenting completed work and upcoming service needs.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner and identify unsafe conditions.
  • Take appropriate action to protect the safety of self, coworkers, members, guests, and vendors.
