Job Title: Night Crew Pool Technician

CPO LICENSE REQUIRED OR WILLING TO GET AFTER HIRED

START AT 5PM WORK 10-12 HOUR NIGHT SHIFT

Job Overview:

The Night Crew Pool Technician is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of swimming pools and related facilities during overnight hours. This role involves conducting regular pool cleaning, water quality testing, and equipment inspections to maintain optimal conditions for pool users. Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities:

1. Pool Maintenance and Cleaning:

• Clean and vacuum pool areas, removing debris, leaves, and any foreign materials from the water and surrounding areas.

• Scrub and brush pool surfaces, tiles, and walls as needed.

• Empty skimmer and pump baskets regularly.

2. Water Quality Testing and Adjustment:

• Test water chemistry, including pH, chlorine levels, and other essential parameters, to ensure safe conditions.

• Adjust chemical levels as needed to maintain proper water balance, using chlorine, pH balancers, and other chemicals.

• Document and record water test results and any adjustments made.

3. Inspection and Minor Repairs:

• Inspect pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters, for functionality and potential issues.

• Perform minor repairs or report significant equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

• Monitor the condition of pool lights, ladders, railings, and safety equipment.

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

• Maintain a safe working environment and promptly address any hazards in the pool area.

• Follow all protocols related to handling pool chemicals safely.

5. General Facility Upkeep:

• Clean and organize pool storage areas and equipment rooms.

• Experience: Prior experience as a pool technician or in a similar maintenance role preferred.
