This is a full time, exempt role.

Ensure the highest level of resident and guest satisfaction by offering prompt, professional, courteous, and dedicated services. Actively contribute to the department in order to complete tasks, meet goals, or manage projects. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the proper, efficient, and profitable functioning of the day-to-day operations of Pool & Beach Operations
  • Responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and coordinating outlet operations
  • Forecast, implement, monitor, control, and report on the outlet budgets and their components (labor costs, supplies, equipment, etc.) to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service.
  • Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of the Pool & Beach area/equipment to protect the assets, comply with regulations, and ensure quality service.
  • Ensure efficient operation of the Pool & Beach department’s staffing, training, and scheduling of team members
  • Attend daily morning standup meetings and any other Management meetings as scheduled
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere throughout
  • Taking feedback from residents
  • Maintain property records related to pool & beach operations
  • Understand & comply with safety regulations and other laws
  • Train and lead the department in the following tasks:
    • Setting up pool & beach area prior to opening each day
    • Setting up tables and chairs when and where required
    • Ensuring equipment is working and in place
    • Provide residents with towels as needed
    • Showing residents available chairs and setting up
    • Inspecting the pool & beach area for cleanliness throughout the day
    • Ensuring residents & guest satisfaction throughout the day
    • Maintaining, cleaning, and properly storing equipment
    • Assist Food & Beverage operations with bussing pool and beach tables
    • Providing residents with menus and drinks
    • Distributing amenities in pool and beach areas


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years Pool & Beach operations supervisory/management outlet experience, preferably in a hotel or luxury residential environment

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Must have a positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces (e.g. sand)
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
