Assistant pool managers are professionals who help oversee the daily operations of swimming pools, working under the direction of a pool manager. Their duties typically include supervising lifeguards, ensuring pool safety and cleanliness, assisting with scheduling, handling customer inquiries, and enforcing pool rules and regulations. They play a key role in maintaining a safe environment for swimmers and supporting the overall management of the aquatic facility.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an assistant pool manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Assistant Pool Manager, you need a solid understanding of pool operations, water safety, and basic maintenance, usually supported by a lifeguard certification and knowledge of first aid and CPR. Familiarity with pool chemical testing kits, scheduling software, and incident reporting systems is typically required.
