Job description

Swim Club Management Group is looking for seasonal Pool Managers to join our growing team! Swim Club Management Group provides comprehensive pool management, staffing, and renovation services for commercial properties.
At Swim Club Management Group our purpose is to inspire and create happier and healthier moments. As a Pool Manager, you will play a key role in supporting this mission by overseeing daily operations and maintenance at an assigned pool, including staff supervision, training, pool and facility upkeep, chemical testing, and ensuring a safe and positive experience for clients and guests.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and support lifeguards, deck attendants, and other pool staff to ensure everyone is properly trained and following procedures.
  • Create, manage, and enforce lifeguard rotations and staff break schedules.
  • Step in to provide lifeguard coverage when needed to ensure continuous supervision of the pool.
  • Maintain a safe swimming environment by enforcing all pool rules and regulations.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing water rescues and administering First Aid and CPR/AED when necessary.
  • Inspect pool facilities, equipment, and water conditions to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Assist with pool maintenance, including water testing, recording chemical levels, maintaining logs, and adding chemicals as directed.
  • Help oversee daily cleaning of the facility, including pool deck, bathrooms, and surrounding areas.
  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with residents, guests, and clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service in every interaction.
  • Document and report accidents, incidents, and disciplinary concerns to leadership.
  • Follow and uphold all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Wear the approved uniform for each assigned location.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications; CPO or AFO preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with guests, clients, and staff.
  • Strong organizational skills, including managing schedules, rotations, and records.
  • Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (sun, heat, rain, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and/or weekends.
  • Physically able to perform rescues and assist distressed individuals (up to 85+ lbs), swim, climb, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand for long periods.
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
  • Flexible availability required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and potential overtime based on business needs.
  • Weekend and holiday availability during the summer season is essential.
  • Pool Managers are expected to work key summer holidays and surrounding weekends, including: Memorial Day Weekend, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, and Labor Day Weekend.

LOCATION
Swim Club Management Group supports multiple pool locations throughout the area. Pool Managers are assigned to a specific pool location for the season. Assignments are based on staffing needs, your availability, and preferred locations when possible.
