Video Editor Intern (School Credit)

Location: Remote (Los Angeles applicants preferred)


About Us

Star Magic is a Los Angeles based mobile boutique and experiential wellness brand specializing in immersive tarot and astrology experiences for private events, brand activations, festivals, and pop-ups. We are launching an astrology podcast and are seeking a creative Video Editor Intern to help bring our content to life.

Responsibilities

* Edit 10–15 podcast episodes from 30–45 minutes of raw 4K footage into polished 20-minute episodes

* Create engaging cuts optimized for YouTube and digital platforms

* Assist with basic organization of footage and project files

* Incorporate feedback and revisions throughout the editing process

* Help identify compelling moments that can be repurposed into short-form social media clips

Requirements

* Current student or recent graduate in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field

* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

* Access to your own editing equipment and software

* Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Time Commitment

* Approximately 5–10 hours per week
