• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare providers to conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans under appropriate supervision.
• Perform various medical procedures, assist during surgeries, and participate in postoperative care to ensure optimal recovery for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment options, medication management, and preventive health measures, fostering a collaborative relationship to improve health literacy.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation, promoting continuity of care and adherence to hospital policies.
• Monitor and manage patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in conjunction with the healthcare team to ensure optimal health outcomes.

As a Physician Assistant at Care First, you will have the privilege of working with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients across various medical specialties. • Completion of an accredited Master’s degree program for Physician Assistants.
• Current state licensure/certification as a Physician Assistant in Missouri.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting is required, with a preference for experience across multiple specialties.
• Strong clinical assessment skills coupled with an ability to formulate and evaluate treatment plans effectively.
• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills to enhance collaboration and patient education.

While a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting is required, candidates with experience in urgent care, surgical assistance, or critical care environments will be particularly well-suited for this position. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in diversified specialties and an eagerness to broaden their expertise in various medical fields.
