The Patient Transporter performs activities related to transportation of patients as directed. Will assist in the lifting of heavy, badly injured, or elderly patients. Ensures adequate supply of oxygen tanks throughout the facility. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Minimum: High School graduate or equivalent


EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous transport experience with patient care preferred


REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

  • Current AHA BLS Certification required.


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to communicate in positive and courteous manner; demonstrated customer service skills
