As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Moreland, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  • Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall locations, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Assist with access control, visitor directions, and traffic flow while maintaining professional communication with tenants, shoppers, vendors, and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
