Job description

University of New Mexico-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) is abranch campus of University of New Mexico located in Los Alamos.The campus provides accessible higher education, including associate degrees,certificates, dual credit programs, and non-credit workforce developmentopportunities that support regional workforce and economic needs. The campus iscurrently undergoing several major construction and facility improvementprojects aimed at modernizing infrastructure and expanding capacity to supportfuture growth. The Facilities Manager will play a significant role in theproject management of these construction initiatives and will be a keycontributor to the continuation and successful completion of ongoing campusrenovation efforts.

Under limited supervision, manages all aspects of theintegrated UNM Los Alamos campus of the University occupying multiplebuildings. Oversees the supervision of a limited workforce engaged inactivities associated with the operations, maintenance, and housekeeping of thecomponent's various facilities. Plans, oversees, and coordinates theimplementation of construction and capital improvement projects, and directlyparticipates in overall facilities planning for the UNM Los Alamoscampus.  Serves as the primary 24/7 contact for the intrusion/securitycompany and local law enforcement. 

This position is eligible for a 5,000 hiring incentive.
