Delta Workforce is looking to hire an Operations Manager for a plastic mold injection shop in Portgage MI!

Summary:
Lead daily manufacturing operations by overseeing production, quality, staffing, and continuous improvement to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and delivered on time.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production operations, staffing, and workflow to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
  • Manage production and quality teams, providing leadership, coaching, and support to drive performance and accountability.
  • Monitor production metrics, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, shipping, and customer service to resolve production challenges and support customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company policies while maintaining a clean and efficient manufacturing environment.

  • Prior experience in Plastic Injection Molding, including mold changes, hydraulics, and electrical
  • Education to support mold set-ups and troubleshooting
  • Computer skills, including machine control
