Assistant Operations Manager

About the Position

American Security is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support the day to day management of our security operations. This position plays a critical role in recruiting, staffing, employee relations, scheduling, and ensuring our officers and clients receive exceptional service.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast paced environment, can effectively manage multiple priorities, and is committed to maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit qualified security professionals through various recruiting platforms and marketing initiatives.
  • Create and manage job advertisements.
  • Interview, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and training.
  • Develop and maintain employee work schedules while ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Ensure employees remain compliant with licensing, certifications, and company requirements.
  • Oversee employee performance, provide coaching and corrective action, and administer progressive discipline as needed.
  • Maintain and update office procedures, operational manuals, and company documentation.
  • Assist with field visits, employee evaluations, and quality assurance inspections.
  • Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.
