Job description

Title: Office Engineer 

Location: DMV & Eastern Shore Regions

Employment Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Summary

Anchor Construction Corporation is seeking an Office Engineer to support project management teams in delivering safe, profitable heavy civil construction projects. This role partners closely with Project Engineers, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure production goals, documentation, and contract requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily production tracking, field timesheets, and project documentation

  • Manage submittals, drawings, quantities, RFIs, and project records

  • Assist with invoices, change orders, and project schedules

  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to ensure contract compliance and safety

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering

  • Heavy civil construction experience required

  • Fluent in English and Spanish

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Primavera (P6), AutoCAD, or similar software

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
