Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Executive Assistant/ Office Engineer Assistant to join our team! In this role you will be a key member of a major infrastructure undertaking at LAX, support tracking developer submittals and Request for Information (RFI) management, and provide the office and project manager with administrative support.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist the team in the receipt, distribution and maintenance of submittals. Perform construction contract correspondence, document and plan control function, input data into Prolog, and prepare management information status report, as required.
  • Update and maintain logs for submittals and RFIs in Prolog, the project information system.
  • Maintain project files and document / submittal management systems (hard and electronic copies). Distribute documents, submittals and RFIs for review; track and compile responses/review comments, obtain management approval and issue responses to APM Developer.
  • Manipulate electronic files of various formats to create exhibits for presentations and meetings.
  • Complete other responsibilities and assists with clerical support for Project Manager, conference room scheduling, expense reports, and ordering office supplies.
  • Administer and track team's badging with client agency and office/parking card access.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 3-5 years of engineering or construction project experience. Experience supporting projects of similar size/scope/complexity is preferred.
  • BA or BS degree (or equivalent work experience of 7 years).
  • Demonstrated administrative abilities to support construction/engineering teams of significant size and have great communication skills - both written oral, and responsiveness to requests.
  • Attention to detail and cooperative, professional attitude.
  • Willingness to assume additional responsibilities.
  • Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint skills are musts and Prolog experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work remotely Monday and Fridays and work in the LAX area office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays ( normal hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm)
