Job description

Join our Information Technology team as a Senior Network Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network and infrastructure solutions. Reporting to the Senior Manager of IT Operations, you will support on-premises and cloud-based environments, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical IT systems. This role is responsible for network operations, infrastructure improvements, technical escalation support, disaster recovery planning, and maintaining the technologies that enable our business to operate efficiently.
What You'll Do
  • Install and support IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage.
  • Assist in designing and implementing network infrastructure improvements.
  • Assess, recommend, and implement network technologies and solutions.
  • Develop and implement plans for network monitoring, and disaster recovery.
  • Evaluate network performance and capacity needs.
  • Analyze network performance and recommend improvements.
  • Secure systems in compliance with applicable standards and policies.
  • Create and maintain network diagrams and technical documentation to support operations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure planning.
  • Respond to and coordinate resolution of technical issues identified by the Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • Support network-related requests, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate escalations to appropriate technical teams.
  • Document resolutions and analyze trends to prevent recurring issues.
  • Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Support IT operational projects

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • At least 6+ years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies and network systems.
  • Practical experience in Microsoft Server Systems, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra.
  • Experience working independently and in collaboration with internal and external technical teams including systems' vendors and managed service providers.
  • CCNA, CCNP, Network + or Security + certification preferred.
  • Ability to understand network protocols, hardware, and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver.
  • Ability to communicate technical information both verbal and written.
  • Ability to comprehend technical manuals and procedural documentation.
