Job description

When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.

This key contributor role will work as part of a regional team to support and maintain the network
services assigned to their region. These services include but are not limited to routers, switches, DNS/DHCP, wireless,
and Radius/TACACS. Each region will assigned specific hospitals and remote offices to support.

Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to: 
•    Install, configure, and support of layer 2 and layer 3 routers, switches.
•    Install, configure, and support of wireless controllers and access points.
•    Install, configure, and support of appliances dealing with DHCP and DNS services.
•    Install, configure, and support of racked based uninterrupted power supplies.
•    Install, configure, and support of Radius and TACACS servers.
•    Assist with network design as requested.
•    Assist with mentoring Network Engineers.
•    Providing exceptional customer service for services supported by the Networking department.
•    Creating and maintaining network documentation, including network diagrams.
•    Updates databases for items such as equipment inventory, circuit ids, pictures and IP addressing.
•    Upgrade all network equipment operating systems for security and increased functionality.
•    Monitor all equipment and data circuits assigned to the region.
•    Will be part of a second level rotating on-call system to provide off hours support to Network Engineers on weekends and evenings (required to carry a pager and be reachable by cellphone).
•    Assist other network regions as required.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years supporting and configuring Cisco network equipment running at layer 2 and 3
  • Minimum of 3 years supporting routing protocols, including OSPF and EIGRP

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Experience support Wireless LAN Controllers and Access Point, running 802.1X.
  • Experience in network design

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience supporting Brocade network equipment.
  • Experience with Ekahau Pro for wireless planning and support

Pay Range:

$125,008.00 USD - $168,244.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
