Pay Range

$17.00 - $22.40

Purpose:

The Assortment Merchant Specialist is a key member of the store team that collaborates to conduct product line reviews, competitive shops and ensure the overall standards/assortment of the store are upheld in accordance to company guidelines.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • (1) year of customer service/retail experience
  • High school diploma and/or GED
  • (1) year of computer experience in a work environment

Job Functions:

  • Engage customers and provide a quality shopping experience when applicable
  • Assist in merchandising resets across the store departments
  • Strategically merchandize and utilize the company guidelines to outline merchandising practices. Ensure store presentation standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Attend Product Line Reviews
  • Assist in conducting weekly competitive shops.
  • Communicate pricing and/or inventory issues to the senior team. Analyze and work all business reports in order to be in the best merchandising, in-stock and pricing position.
  • Ensure brand standards and operating standards meet or exceed expectations to support brand consistency.
  • Interface with Store Support Associates
  • Monitor, maintain and follow company policies; support company expectations and systems.
  • Available to open and/or close the store in an effective manner.
