Job description

We're a manufacturing technology company replacing months of lead time with days, using proprietary software, automation, and advanced manufacturing systems built for speed. We'reย looking for a hands-on 3D Printingย Leadย to own our large-format additive manufacturing operation. This role isย perfectย for someone who enjoysย operatingย cutting-edgeย equipment, solving technical challenges, and building reliable production processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ย ย The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented maker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and reliability across all projects.ย 

What You'll Do:
  • Own the operation of our CEAD large-format additive manufacturing system and fleet of Bambu Lab printers.ย 

  • Set up and monitor print jobs, adjusting machine parameters as neededย 

  • Perform machine calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairsย ย 

  • Remove support material, clean, finish, and inspect printed partsย 

  • Manage filament, pellets, consumables, and spare parts inventoryย 

  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, CNC, and Composite teams to support productionย 

  • Assistย with prototyping, tooling, fixtures, molds, and production partsย 

What We're Looking For:
  • Be awesome! Be the kind of person you want to work with!ย 

  • 3+ years operating industrial or professional 3D printing equipmentย ย 

  • Experience operating Bambu Lab, CEAD, or similar equipmentย ย 

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issuesย ย 

  • Experience performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipmentย ย 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skillsย 

  • Comfortable working independently while managing multiple print jobs simultaneouslyย ย 

  • High attention to detail and commitment to qualityย ย 

  • Ability toย lift upย to 50ย lbsย and spend extended periods standing or moving throughout the production floorย 

Bonus Points:
  • Experience with large-format additive manufacturing or industrial FDM systems preferredย 

  • Experience working in startup or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing experienceย 

  • Experience reading engineering drawings and CAD modelsย 

$90,000 - $120,000 a year

Final compensation is based on your experience, skills, and what you bring to the table.ย
