Job description

About this opportunity:
GoEngineer is a leading provider of design and manufacturing solutions, helping companies accelerate innovation through engineering software, industrial and professional 3D printing, and digital manufacturing technologies.
The GoEngineer Digital Manufacturing team is looking for a sales-driven, relationship-focused 3D Printing Sales Account Manager to join our growing organization and own revenue growth within an assigned territory.
While our solutions are highly technical, you won't be selling alone. You'll be supported by application engineers and technical experts-your primary responsibility is to build relationships, uncover opportunities, and close business.
In this role, you will partner with companies across a wide range of industries to understand their product development, prototyping, and short-run production challenges, then lead the sales process by positioning Stratasys and Formlabs 3D printing solutions that meet their needs. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through closing and forecasting.
Territory Coverage
This remote role is responsible for driving growth across the Northeast territory, which includes New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. To effectively support customers and travel throughout the region, we are seeking candidates currently located within the territory, preferably in Massachusetts or Connecticut.
Your key contributions in this role will be:
  • Proactively generate new opportunities through cold calling, outbound prospecting, and territory-based pipeline development

  • Own and drive the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through close

  • Position industrial and professional 3D printing solutions in partnership with internal technical and application teams

  • Lead discovery conversations focused on customer goals, manufacturing challenges, and ROI

  • Travel within your territory to deliver solution-focused presentations and demonstrations

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams

  • Maintain accurate account, opportunity, and forecast data in our CRM (NetSuite experience is a plus)

This role is a great fit for you if:
  • You're a sales professional who enjoys prospecting, owning a territory, and closing deals

  • You're motivated by selling high-impact, capital equipment solutions

  • You enjoy consultative selling with longer sales cycles

  • You're comfortable working with engineers and technical specialists while focusing on sales outcomes

  • You want to grow your career in advanced manufacturing and 3D printing technology

This role is not a great fit for you if:
  • You're primarily seeking a hands-on engineering, application, or technical role

  • You prefer inbound-only sales with minimal outbound prospecting

  • You're uncomfortable with cold outreach or revenue ownership

  • You're looking for a role focused on technical execution rather than sales performance

Competitive Compensation Includes:
Base + Incentives (Base range = $60,000 - $65,000), with expected OTE $130k+.
