Description Assistant Section Chief of Site Development Mayor Justin M. Bibb is hiring a team of leaders to join the Mayor's Office of Capital Projects. Join us today as we shape our future. Examples of Duties Under administrative direction, coordinates and supervises all phases of designated program and project development and administration. Assists with or performs special projects as assigned.

Provides training and technical assistance within and outside of the department as directed. Prepares and delivers presentations. Plans, develops, and administers projects and programs within a work unit.

Reviews and evaluates program/project impact. Identifies project resources, requirements, methods, impact, and techniques. Prepares funding proposals and government reports.

Monitors program contracts for compliance with terms and specifications. Conducts field site visits as necessray. Performs other job-related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business/Public Administration or related field from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred. Three years of full-time paid progressively responsible management/supervisory experience in program and/or project development required. Should be proficient in computer and software applications (Microsoft Office Suites) and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required. Supplemental Information DEPARTMENTAL DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Section Chief of Site Development, will assist the Site Development Section in the preparation of landscape architectural drawings, presentation drawings, and contract construction documents for the improvement or rehabilitation of various city park and recreation site developments. Candidate must be capable of managing the preparation of preliminary and final design, cost estimates, reports or studies, and contract construction administration responsibilities of site improvement projects throughout the City of Cleveland.

Responsible for oversight of preparation and development of capital improvement/rehabilitation master plans, studies, assessments and reports for Parks and Site Improvements of City owned facilities.DEPARTMENTAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree or Master of Landscape Architecture or comparable degree is required. Current registration in good standing as a Landscape Architect in the State of Ohio is required. Ten years of full-time paid experience in a landscape architectural, engineering, or construction office performing the duties related to this position is required

Must have a working knowledge of AutoCad 3-D, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite programs. Should have working knowledge of project planning software such as Smartsheet as well as good written and verbal communication skills.
