Job description

About Us
At Leap, we're on a mission to transform the home improvement industry - and we want you to be part of that journey. We're proud to be recognized on the Inc. 5000 and Inc. Regionals lists for 5+ consecutive years, reflecting sustained growth driven by innovation, strong execution, and an incredible team. We build technology that helps contractors work smarter, scale faster, and deliver better experiences to their customers.
When you join Leap, you'll work alongside curious minds, bold innovators, and thoughtful risk-takers who care deeply about doing great work - and doing it together. Our culture is transparent, supportive, and grounded in approachable leadership. We actively listen to our employees through semi-annual engagement surveys, maintain a strong eNPS score, and consistently act on feedback to improve what's working and where we can do better. We believe great work happens when people are supported outside of work, which is why we offer comprehensive benefits and wellness resources for you and your family.
Take the Leap today and help shape what's next.

As Head of Marketing, you'll own Leap's marketing strategy and lead the team that brings it to life, from brand and content to demand generation and product marketing. You'll set the direction for how Leap shows up to contractors and the industry, build the pipeline Sales needs to hit its numbers, and make sure the brand holds up as Leap moves upmarket to bigger accounts. As a member of the leadership team, you'll help shape company strategy—not just execute against it. This is a strategic role and a hands-on one. We're a lean team, so you'll set the direction and then roll your sleeves up—writing the copy, building the campaign, digging into the numbers—to keep quality high across every channel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own Leap's marketing strategy, aligning brand, content, demand generation, and product marketing behind company goals.
  • Build and lead the marketing organization, including hiring and developing managers across Content, Creative Strategy, and Product Marketing.
  • Build and manage the marketing budget, allocating spend across channels to maximize pipeline and brand impact.
  • Own demand generation strategy, ensuring Marketing delivers a consistent, qualified pipeline that supports Sales targets.
  • Own how Leap shows up in search and in AI answers, including SEO and answer engine optimization (AEO), so contractors find Leap whether they're searching Google or asking an AI assistant.
  • Guide brand strategy and creative direction, making sure everything Leap puts out reflects a consistent, on-brand voice.
  • Partner closely with Sales on lead quality, campaign alignment, and sales enablement content.
  • Partner with Product on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for new features and launches.
  • Own Leap's event strategy, including trade shows, webinars, and other opportunities to build brand presence in the industry.
  • Elevate marketing strategy and materials to support Leap's move upmarket, building credibility with larger contractor accounts.
  • Own marketing's operating plan and report performance and pipeline contribution to the CEO, leadership team, and board.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including 4+ years leading a marketing team, ideally within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated success building and leading a marketing team across content, brand, demand generation, and product marketing.
  • Track record of building pipeline that supports and drives sales results.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and AEO, including how to structure content so it gets picked up and cited in AI-generated answers.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and the ability to keep messaging consistent across channels and teams.
  • Excellent consultative and listening skills with a strong ability to communicate across a range of diverse cultures and corporate levels, including Executive Management.
  • Ability to communicate complex marketing strategy clearly to sales, product, and executive audiences.
  • Comfortable operating as a player-coach—leading a team while still doing the work yourself when the team is lean.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to guide budget and channel decisions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing investment to pipeline and revenue outcomes, including prior ownership of a marketing budget and its performance.
  • Experience marketing to an upmarket or enterprise audience is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of the home improvement or field services industry is a plus.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for events, leadership meetings, and company events.

Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Pay Range
$220,000—$250,000 USD
