About us: Freedom Village is proud to be a debt free Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and has been serving seniors in South Orange County, California since 1987. Our beautiful campus includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing.

About the position: The Marketing Assistant assists the Director of Marketing and the sales counselors in work critical to the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as the long-term growth of the company. Coordinate all steps of the new resident move-in process.
Duties include:
  • Assist with marketing event preparation and coordination, confirmation calls and mailings
  • Coordinate all steps of the new resident move-in process, welcome new residents and help them to smoothly transition and integrate into the community
  • Answer phones and provide compelling descriptions of the benefits of living at Freedom Village
  • Provide tours for walk-in prospects as needed
  • Complete daily administrative tasks to ensure the top performance and coordination of the department
  • Take photos and videos of the community and of resident events and activities
  • Collaborate with graphic designer and external vendors to ensure marketing materials are provided on time
  • Communicate with clients and residents, encourage trusting relationships and follow-through on their requests and questions
  • Support the marketing team in organizing various projects
  • Update files, spreadsheets, the marketing database, inventories and reports. Make copies and keep inventories stocked of contracts, forms and other marketing collateral
  • Assist residents with needs pertaining to the marketing department
  • Maintain a positive attitude with effective cooperation and communication with other departments

Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and experience with database input and maintenance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to effectively perform in a fast-paced environment with a high call volume
Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through
Social media experience a plus
Salary: $21.00 per hour to $23 per hour (depends on experience) with an excellent benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k (for full-time positions) and the opportunity to continue your education through our scholarship program!
Offer of employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance through Department of Justice, physical exam, TB and drug and alcohol screening. Covid-19 vaccination preferred not required.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. This position requires weekend and holiday flexibility coverage as needed.
