ABOUT CCO CERTIFICATION:

CCO Certification (CCO) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). NCCCO was formed in 1995 as a nonprofit organization with its mission to develop effective performance standards for safe load handling equipment operation to assist all segments of general industry and construction. 


CCO, established in 2014, supports NCCCO's mission by developing effective performance standards; providing fair, valid, and reliable assessments; acting as an industry resource; and being the leader in providing certifications for those who work in and around load handling equipment. CCO is headquartered in Murray, UT and maintains an office in Palm Harbor, FL.


POSITION SUMMARY:


The Marketing and Communications Coordinator plays a key role in producing, editing, and managing content for both print and digital platforms. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position is responsible for supporting the department by overseeing and assisting with an e-commerce store that sells physical and digital products, document production, graphic design, social media management, and maintaining website content. The coordinator will work on drafting and editing marketing materials along with technical materials, ensuring consistency and quality.


This role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and suggest improvements to enhance accuracy and timeliness. The coordinator will also assist in marketing campaigns, collaborating across teams to ensure that content is clear, concise, and aligned with the organization's goals.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Document Production/Graphics Support:

  • Assist in designing and producing marketing and technical documents.
  • Update handbooks and external-facing documents to reflect program and policy changes as directed.
  • Prepare print-ready and web-ready files, including graphics, banners, social media and photos.
  • Support the production of stakeholder communications.

B. Website Management:

  • Maintain and update website content in coordination with the Marketing Director.
  • Ensure website design is user-friendly and optimized for various devices.
  • Assist with website organization to enhance usability and accessibility.

C. Editing:

  • Edit marketing/technical documents for grammar, style, and consistency.
  • Provide editing and graphics support to staff across departments.

D. E-Commerce Store:

  • Maintain inventory levels for e-commerce store.
  • Responsible for shipping products to customers
  • Providing detailed reports regarding store progress to the Marketing Director. 


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Design or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience 


Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Skilled in Canva or other graphic design platforms
  • Strong communication skills - listening, verbal and written
  • General design and production knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Proficient in WordPress or similar website publishing program
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently
  • Willingness to learn the industry
