A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSITANT MANAGER

As An Assistant Manager, you stand ready to assume responsibility for the operation in absence of the General Manager. You will help to ensure that our food service establishment operates in a way that is profitable and efficient. You will direct team members to accomplish goals and objectives of the operation. As orders come in, you jump in and help prepare them correctly. You ensure the team is properly trained, and that they follow all policies and procedures.

Attentive to detail, you count cash from registers as well as from our safe, ensuring that all money is accounted for. You will do other administrative tasks as assigned by the General Manager. You manage our inventory and put in orders as necessary. Throughout your shift, you ensure that our restaurant is clean and sanitized according to our standards.

You will assist in the hiring process by diligently reviewing applications, participating in interviews, onboarding new employees, and conducting training. To help strengthen your team, you help coach and develop team members and shift members. As employees work, you check timecards for accuracy, while staying within prescribed labor parameters. You love leading our team and take pride in the part you play in the success of our food service establishment!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT MANAGER

•18+ years of age

•High school diploma or GED

•6 months of restaurant experience as a Shift manager or assistant manager

•Valid Driver’s License

•ServSafe or Prometric/NEHA Certification

•Customer service skills

•Reliable transportation

Experience working in fast food is preferred. A college degree would be a plus. Are you enthusiastic and energetic? Do you have superior interpersonal and communication skills?
