Assistant Manager
Cambridge - Boston Area
Full-time | Evenings & Weekends Required
Love Art Sushi is a fast-growing Boston fast-casual concept focused on high-quality food, efficient service, and strong team culture. We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and helps keep operations running smoothly every day. This role is ideal for someone ready to grow into higher leadership — you’ll be a key partner to Management and help drive the daily success of the restaurant.

You’ll be a working leader responsible for both operations and team support:

Shift Leadership & Operations
  • Lead daily shifts and support high-volume service
  • Ensure strong guest experience and smooth kitchen/front coordination
  • Open and close the restaurant independently when scheduled
Team Leadership
  • Coach and support team members during shifts
  • Help onboard and train new hires
  • Maintain a positive, accountable team culture
Staffing & Scheduling Support
  • Assist with shift coverage and staffing needs
  • Communicate labor needs and help keep schedules running smoothly
Guest Experience
  • Handle guest concerns directly and resolve issues in real time
  • Maintain service standards and brand expectations
Inventory & Operations Support
  • Support inventory counts, ordering, and organization
  • Help maintain food safety and cleanliness standards

 What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3+ years restaurant leadership experience (shift lead, supervisor, or assistant manager)
  • Comfortable running busy shifts and solving problems quickly
  • Strong communicator with a team-first mindset
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Fast-casual or high-volume experience preferred
Benefits & Perks
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) including sick time and personal time
  • Free shift meals and employee food discounts
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement within a growing restaurant group
