Job description

We are seeking a Senior Client Account Manager to support our client's Middle Market Commercial Lines team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day servicing, retention, and support of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients while working closely with Account Executives and Producers. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, helping them navigate coverage questions, policy changes, renewals, and ongoing service needs. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial insurance experience, extremely high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must have experience working on accounts with $200,000 annual premium and above.
Responsibilities
  • Manage daily servicing of assigned middle market commercial accounts
  • Serve as a primary contact for client questions regarding coverage, policy changes, and service needs
  • Process endorsements, policy changes, renewals, and other policy transactions in Applied Epic or similar system
  • Issue certificates of insurance, binders, auto ID cards, and evidence of insurance
  • Prepare and support new business and renewal submissions, proposals, and presentations
  • Enter, review, and validate quotes and policy data for accuracy
  • Communicate with carriers and underwriters regarding quotes, renewals, and policy updates
  • Review policies and contracts to help identify coverage requirements or gaps
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, premium allocations, and installment processing
  • Review carrier audits and assist clients with questions or discrepancies
  • Support onboarding of new clients, including applications and system setup
  • Maintain accurate client records, proposals, and marketing files
  • Provide timely, professional responses to client inquiries

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management or servicing
  • Experience handling middle market accounts ($200,000+ in annual premium)
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and policy structure
  • Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • College degree preferred
  • CISR or similar insurance designation preferred
  • Candidates may be required to complete assessments in insurance knowledge and Microsoft Office skills
  • Background check required
