Assistant locksmiths are entry-level professionals who support experienced locksmiths in tasks such as installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and security systems. They may help with key cutting, rekeying locks, opening locked doors, and organizing tools and equipment. Assistant locksmiths often accompany senior locksmiths on service calls, gaining hands-on experience while learning the trade.
