. Line Lead
Position Summary
The Line Lead is responsible for operating production while leading employees on the production line. This role ensures products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to company quality and food safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct employees working on the production line
  • Ensure food safety and company compliance standards are followed
  • Train employees on production processes and procedures
  • Maintain production pace and workflow efficiency
  • Identify and escalate production issues
  • Ensure employees remain on task and meet expectations
  • Support a safe and clean working environment
  • Assist with troubleshooting
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding production concerns

Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred
  • Leadership or lead experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Bi-lingual language including Spanish and/or Vietnamese is preferred
  • Ability to focus on multiple issues simultaneously
  • Previous experience with production metrics
  • Experience with USDA and SQF, both preferred
  • General technical knowledge and proficiency with ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods and comfortable working in various temperature conditions
  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
