Job description

SUMMARY:   
  Profectus Multifamily Management (PMM) is looking for a dynamic and experienced Leasing Agent to support and execute company strategies related to property management operations for our Killeen, TX, location. The Leasing Agent position executes various tasks related but not limited to marketing, leasing, collections to generate revenue, administrative duties, resident relations and customer service, resident retention, ensure property goals are being met, and execute compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The Leasing Agent will report directly to the Property Manager and Director of Operations.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·       Assist in achieving property occupancy and revenue goals through effective leasing practices and resident retention initiatives
·       Respond promptly to leasing inquiries, provide tours, and follow up with prospective residents to secure lease agreements
·       Process applications, prepare lease documentation, and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
·       Assist in marketing efforts, including online advertising, social media promotion, and community outreach to attract prospective residents
·       Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor communities to help position the property competitively
·       Provide exceptional customer service to residents and support efforts to resolve resident concerns
·       Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure apartment homes are tour-ready and move-in ready
·       Support office operations by assisting with rent collection, data entry, and administrative tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS: 
·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
·       Ability to build rapport with prospective residents and maintain positive resident relationships
·       Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
·       Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
·       Proficient knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Office/Suite products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Gmail
·       Knowledge of leasing practices, Fair Housing laws, and general property management preferred
 
EDUCTATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
·       High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required; College Degree preferred
·       Minimum of one (1) years of property management / leasing experience
·       Experience in property management leasing and operations, familiarity with financial reporting and analysis, human resource procedures, marketing best practices, lease negotiation, documentation and administration
