Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Tampa Bay Speech, Language & Reading Clinic – FishHawk, FL
Part-Time | Opportunity to Grow to Full-Time

Tampa Bay Speech, Language & Reading Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team! We are a well-established private practice serving children and families in the FishHawk/Lithia area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SLPA who enjoys working with children, values individualized therapy, and wants to grow professionally within a supportive clinical team. The position will begin part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as caseload and scheduling needs increase.
Responsibilities
  • Provide individual speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities
  • Work with children with a variety of speech, language, literacy, and communication needs
  • Accurately document therapy sessions and maintain clinical records
  • Communicate professionally with parents, caregivers, and the clinical team
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Build positive relationships with children and families
  • Collaborate with SLPs and other members of the clinical team
Qualifications
  • Current Florida SLPA license/certification or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Enjoys working with children and families
  • Dependable, professional, and enthusiastic
  • Ability to work independently while accepting supervision and feedback
  • Previous pediatric experience is preferred but not required
