Job description

Mungo Homes has an opening for a Sr. Land Entitlement Project Manager in our Raleigh, NC market!

This position will supervise and coordinate tasks and schedules between the internalengineering team and outside engineering firms to ensure that projects are ready for development on schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops schedules for entitlement process on new projects under consideration. Feeds schedules into LPP's(land position profiles) that coincide with cashflows from estimating. Get schedule approval with MarketManagement, Acquisitions, and Development Manager.
Tracks and drives current entitlements to ensure that they stay on schedule.
Meets with management team for regular project updates.
Identifying key milestones with acquisitions team for entitlements, approvals, and contract deadlines.
Ensuring contract terms comply with needed schedule of business plan.
Tracking entitlement timeframes for projects according to business plan schedules.
Ensuring that all needs are met to move onto the next stage of project - tracking/following up on approvals,plans, paperwork, signatures, bonds, permits, and fees.
Tracking contract deposit schedules vs milestones and deliverables.
Aware of municipal trends as it relates to entitlement requirements for development work, architecturalrequirements, etc.
Attend meetings with municipal planning and rezoning staff.

Education and/or Experience: Experience in land development and the entitlement process including subdivisionplans, grading, utilities, rezoning approvals, permitting processes and requirements for subdivision projects.
